Protection against instantaneous pressure changes due to an explosion.

A blast suppression damper is designed to protect against instantaneous pressure changes due to an explosion. The HBS series is constructed with a heavy-duty double-flanged channel frame and double thickness fabricated airfoil blades. Blast suppression dampers can be used in the following applications:

  • Government buildings
  • Mining, gas, and oil platforms
  • Refineries
  • Protection of ventilation systems
