Drainable Blade Louvers
Conventional drainable blade louvers for intake or exhaust applications.
Drainable louvers protect air intake and exhaust openings in exterior walls and provide the best water penetration characteristics among other conventional stationary blade louvers. Drainable blade louvers incorporate a drain gutter in the leading edge of each louver blade. This helps minimize the cascading of water down the face of the louver. Water collected in the blade drain gutters is further channeled to vertical downspouts located in the louver jambs where gravity takes effect, allowing water to escape at the louver sill.
